What Is EPH4?

EPH4 (E - four) is a midweek ministry based on Ephesians 4:11-13 which says, “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God.”

This weekly time of fellowship and faith enrichment for the whole family meets on Wednesday evenings in three sessions during the Fall, Winter and Spring.

Doors to our school building will open at 5pm. We begin with a meal to help accommodate busy family schedules. We don't charge for the meal but donations are accepted to help offset the cost. We then gather at 5:45pm in Kuechle Hall for a brief time of prayer and praise.

Beginning at 6pm, both adults and children head out to a variety of different class offerings where you will engage in discussion with other Christians, be encouraged in your faith-walk with Jesus, equipped with biblical knowledge, and leave feeling enriched in your faith! The evening wraps up with prayer and a sending blessing at 7pm.

Christianity is more than just another spiritual option. It uniquely tells us the truth about God, the world, and ourselves. Sin has trapped us in a reality apart from our Creator. Jesus came to free us from sin, so we could learn to live in the life-affirming light of the real world with God. This 8-week series covers the foundations of the Christian faith.

  • Adult Classes

A Study in Romans: St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans provides a clear explanation of the Gospel, how we are clothed in Jesus’ righteousness alone and how we ought to live our lives in relation with Him and with each other. This study began in our spring session where we covered the first five chapters and we encourage new attendees to join as week one this fall will be a refresher of those chapters.

Jesus Said What?: Jesus doesn’t always tell you what you want to hear. But He always tells you what you need to hear, and even the hard words are a gift given to you in love. This study tackles some of Jesus' words that people may struggle to understand. It may seem easier to avoid some of Jesus' tough sayings, but instead of shying away from these passages, "Jesus Said What?" urges readers to look to Scripture to understand Scripture.

Managing Our Finances: This class is designed for young couples (and individuals) or any one else who might need guidance on: learning to budget; invest; include charitable giving; and planning for the future. All without being slaves to debt. Come share your thoughts and the thoughts of others in the class.

That the World May Know: Experience the Bible in historical context! Biblical analogies and examples, while meaningful and helpful even to this day, were first meant to convey God's truth to particular people in a particular time and place. So the more fully we can appreciate those times and places, the more fully we can respond to the power of the Word.
