Welcome to Immanuel Lutheran School
We understand and know the importance of checking all the options when considering educational opportunities for your children. Our school strives to advance our students' academic abilities, develop a set of strong moral values, promote a genuine love and care for those around them, and provide them with the good news of Jesus and how much he loves them. ILS is a private, interdenominational, Lutheran school providing a quality Christ-centered education for students in preschool through 8th grade in the Wisconsin Rapids area.

Special Education Assistance
Our team is standing by to assist your child. At ILS, we have on staff a special education teacher, two reading/math intervention teachers who are licensed for kindergarten through 12th grade, a Title 1 reading specialist, and a speech and language specialist to accommodate your child’s IEP/service plan.
Before and After School Care
We understand families need support beyond the school day. ILS offers Cougar Kids before and after school care where students can participate in games, craft projects, and free play and receive homework help.

We love Immanuel Lutheran School! I love the fact that my children can learn academically and still keep God at the center of it all...as it should be. The feeling at Immanuel is that of a second family. Families are involved in many events and activities at Immanuel which allows parent/family participation and reinforces the relationship between parents and their children, which can be very important as the kids reach the middle-school years. It also keeps us connected to what's going on at school, keeping us in the loop. We really enjoy the environment at Immanuel and my kids are learning a lot!

I am so glad my parents chose Immanuel as my school. I couldn't imagine my life if I hadn't gone there. I made so many great friends, and we are all practically family. We also get a great Christian education, and they teach us the values we will need to achieve things in life. Immanuel has amazing teachers who know each of their students' strong points and weak points. It is an amazing school, and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a school for your child.
