Student Life

Programs & Extracurriculars

At ILS, we offer a range of activities to supports our students' spiritual, cognitive, social, physical, and emotional growth. Our school is large enough to support a wide range of opportunities but small enough to offer personalized attention to support confidence and individualized achievement.

Athletics
Athletics

We offer co-ed soccer and girls volleyball as fall sports. During the winter we offer basketball for students in 3rd through 8th grades.

Music
Music

Here at ILS, we have many opportunities to sing and make music to the Lord! Not only is music woven throughout our curriculum, but ILS has been blessed to participate in Opera for the Young program, as well as Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra’s Dorothy Vetter Memorial Educational Concerts. Students can expand and share their musical interests outside the classroom by participating in a variety of music opportunities, including singing during worship at Immanuel and St. Luke’s Lutheran churches (K–grade 5), participating in the band program through Assumption Catholic Schools (grades 4–8), and playing in our ILS Handbell Choir (grades 5–8).

Literature

At ILS, we offer a fun way to explore reading and new books. We have a book club that students can join during the year.

Art continues to be an important part of the curriculum here at ILS. Our art teacher instructs kindergarten through 8th grade. We also have an art club that runs at various times throughout the school year.
