I am a mother to a sweet seven year old and am recently engaged. I grew up in Lansing, Michigan, and Chicago, and moved to the North 13 years ago. This will be my 6th year working at Immanuel running our Cougar Kids program and my daughter has attended this school since she was two. I love animals, reading,  doing puzzles, drawing, playing video games, and making people smile.

The school's theme for this year is "Connected" (John 15:5).  Share a time in your life when you saw the importance of being connected to Jesus.

Being a single parent, often times I felt lonely in my daily routines but I never felt alone because I knew God was always there waiting on me to call upon Him in my struggles. The connection to God helped me through tough battles and I thank Him every night for always standing by me.

What are you looking forward to?

One day going to Greece with my big sister.
