Favorite Bible Verse:

Proverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

I was born and raised in Wisconsin Rapids and I attended Immanuel from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The lessons learned, the firm foundation of my faith set, and the strong friendships that were formed at Immanuel have truly shaped my life. I'm so fortunate to have attended this school; and I am incredibly blessed to be back at Immanuel!  After teaching for 14 years, I have decided to step away from the classroom, but I continue to schedule and manage events for ILS Athletics. My husband Devin, sons Harrison and Cooper,  and I enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, exploring zoos and playgrounds, concerts, campfires, and just about whatever adventure comes our way.

The school's theme this year is "Connected" (John 15:5). Share a time in your life when you saw the importance of being connected to Jesus.

In 2005 I lost my aunt and my grandma within 15 days of each other. They were incredibly strong and supportive women that I was very close to. My world seemed to be turned upside down and the grief was so heavy. it was my faith and connection to Jesus that brought me through that dark time in my life. I have also realized how important my faith and connection to Jesus are to be a great Christian role model to my two boys. God truly has a plan for us and it is sometimes hard to see while traveling down the road of life, but when I stop and look back, I smile because He knew just what I needed and cared for me.

If you could time travel, where is the first place you would go?

I would go to a Jimmy Buffet concert. I'm a big fan, but never got to see him perform live. I would also like to go to Superbowl XXXI Pakcers vs. Patriots in New Orleans 1997.
