Favorite Bible Verse:

2 Corinthians 12:9 "My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness."

I grew up  in Nekoosa, Wisconsin with four siblings on a small hobby farm.  My Dad was a salesman but also raised beef cattle (6 cattle was the limit) and my Mom was a beautician with a beauty salon added on to our home.  I loved gardening and being outdoors.

I am happily married to Ron.  We have four adult children.  All who are graduates from Immanuel Lutheran School.  We all love the outdoors and our favorite pastime is kayaking.

The school's theme this year is "Connected" (John 15:5). Share a time in your life when you saw the importance of being connected to Jesus.

I have found that it has been important to stay connected to Jesus through many losses over the last three years. I lost a father-in-law and several family friends. God has kept me strong when I have felt so weak. He continues to keep me strong during hard times and many changes.
