Favorite Bible Verse:

Philippians 4:13  "I can do all this through Him who gives me strength."

I grew up in central Minnesota in a rural community outside of Kimball in which my family had a small hobby farm. I received a BA in elementary education with a concentration in Environmental Science from Concordia College St. Paul, MN. I later received a Masters in Educational Administration from Concordia University Wisconsin. It has been a blessing to serve at Immanuel in many roles since 1992 and currently serve as principal. I am the husband of Wendy and father to Caleb, Kaity, and Chassiya. I enjoy cooking, gardening, and time at the lake.

The school's theme this year is "Connected" (John 15:5). Share a time in your life when you saw the importance of being connected to Jesus.

I am reminded daily of how small I am and how big God is to support the many things that come down my path of life. I am reminded that it is not me doing these things but God working through me. There are tasks that seem to be large and there is no way that they are going to be completed but on Gods right timing things seem to have a way to work out. This is true personally and professionally as I am reminded the life of Jesus Christ has been paid for through His death on the cross so that I may live this life on Earth to connect more people to Jesus.

What is one important skill that you think everyone should have?

Courage-Do not be afraid of what things may come your way but face them, for God will provide you what you need at that time.
