Miss Jessica Stockinger

First Grade Teacher

Favorite Bible Verse:

“Do not fear, for I am with you.” Isaiah 41:10
I grew up in the Milwaukee area. I moved to Stevens Point for college, where I graduated with an Elementary Education degree in May 2019 and currently reside. I have a large family and they are a big part of my life. As cliche as it sounds, since I was little, I have always wanted to be a teacher. I always looked up to my teachers in the classrooms, and when I was younger, that is what I played when I was at home (even if it was by myself).  I did my student teaching in a first grade classroom, and I LOVED it so much. I am so excited to spend my time here at Immanuel and am so thankful the staff and faculty are so supportive and caring.

Our school’s theme this year is “Endure” (Hebrews 12:1-3). Briefly share a time in your life when you felt you needed the endurance that only God can provide. How can you use your experience to share God’s love with the students and families in our school?

Where is one place you’ve always dreamed of going? Why there?

Although there are many places I have always dreamed of going, I would love to be able to go visit so many places in Europe. I think it looks so beautiful over there and there are so many different cultural things I would love to be able to visit and experience. I have a very big European heritage background and would love to be able to see what it is like over there and learn more about my background cultures.
