Favorite Bible Verse:
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10
I was born and raised in Rochester, Minnesota. I attended Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a certification as a Director of Christian Education, with an emphasis on Youth and Family Life Ministry. It was at Concordia that I met my husband, Tim, and we were married in August of 2005. We have been blessed with two sons, Micah and Elijah, and enjoy the fact that everyone in our family was born in a different state (Tim in Daytona, Florida; Robyn in Rochester, Minnesota; Micah in St. Louis, Missouri; Elijah in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin).
I have served as a DCE at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marquette, Michigan, and worked in various capacities at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and School in Delavan, Wisconsin, most recently as a middle school teacher. In 2021, I completed the American Board Teaching Certification program for 1–8th grade General Education and 5–12th grade Math and received my teaching license.
In my “free time,” I enjoy spending time with my family, watching and playing sports, kayaking, hiking, camping, visiting National Parks, and just spending time in God’s creation.
Our school’s theme this year is “Endure” (Hebrews 12:1-3). Briefly share a time in your life when you felt you needed the endurance that only God can provide. How can you use your experience to share God’s love with the students and families in our school?
