Favorite Bible Verse:

“And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

I was born and raised in Wisconsin Rapids and went to a parochial grade school as a child. This opportunity instilled a passion for Jesus’s love for others, especially children, in my everyday life.

I am blessed to be married to my best friend, Tim, who I met at the parochial grade school. We are also blessed to have two awesome children, Tyler and Sarah. Sarah is married to Steve. Tyler is married to Bridget. Tyler and Bridget are parents to Addie. She is our first grandchild and was born in 2022. Both of our children live in the Green Bay area.

Both Tyler and Sarah attended Immanuel Lutheran School from kindergarten through 8th grade. The education they received here is outstanding and still to this day has shaped their lives and relationship with Jesus.

In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, go to concerts, read, and travel…especially to the beach. I’m grateful and excited to start another year at Immanuel and to help teach and share God’s wonderful love for us.

The school’s theme this year is “Connected” (John 15:5). Share a time in your life when you saw the importance of being connected to Jesus.

I have felt connected to Jesus throughout my whole life. In good times with the blessings of my marriage, the birth of our children and granddaughter, graduations, new homes, job changes, etc. I’ve also felt connected to Jesus in not so good times. I have especially felt connected when my grandma was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She was a mom to me and was always there for me. She had a deep faith in God. I was her caregiver in the last few years of her life. When she passed, I was heartbroken, but I knew she was with Jesus and free from pain up in heaven with my grandpa.

Which celebrity would you like to meet? Why?

This is a hard question for me, as I have met various famous musical artists at festivals over the years. It is hard to also pick just one person. If I had to pick one, I would pick Diana, Princess of Wales. She was a teacher, princess, philanthropist, and humanitarian. Even after her death, her work continues on with her children.
