Favorite Bible Verse:

“The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1

I was born and grew up in the Wisconsin Rapids area. I attended Immanuel Lutheran School through 8th grade. I attended Lincoln High School, where I especially enjoyed consumer science courses and cross country. I am currently studying Occupational Therapy Assistant at Fox Valley Tech in Appleton, Wisconsin. On days I don’t have classes, I enjoy a variety of roles at ILS. Hobbies I enjoy are long boarding, boating, and spending time with family.

The school’s theme this year is “Connected” (John 15:5). Share a time in your life when you saw the importance of being connected to Jesus.

When I first went to college and was living away from home, it was important to stay connected to Jesus. When I lived at home, I lived with people who shared my same Christian values, but at college, I had roommates and classmates with different beliefs and values. It was important to reach out to friends and family who shared my beliefs and reminded me of Jesus and His love for me. I also joined a young adult group at a local church, which was another way for me to stay connected with God and fellow believers.
