Favorite Bible Verse:
“I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
This will be my 9th year serving at Immanuel School. I am so happy to be a part of such an amazing school and church. My husband, Matt, and I have been married for 25 years. We have two awesome kids; Kyle is 25 and Morgan is 21. Both of them attended school here from kindergarten through 8th grade. We also have a super cute doggie named Millie and a beautiful green-eyed cat named Yoda. Our family enjoys watching all types of sports especially baseball, football, and hockey.
This is the 11th year our family is hosting players with the Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings hockey team. We have two boys staying with us this year. One is from Pennsylvania, and one is from Idaho. In my spare time I enjoy reading, painting, exercising, and playing golf.
Our school’s theme this year is “Endure” (Hebrews 12:1-3). Briefly share a time in your life when you felt you needed the endurance that only God can provide. How can you use your experience to share God’s love with the students and families in our school?
When our daughter left for basic training for the Army Reserves it was a very difficult time for me. I had to endure the pain of missing her and being with her for 6 months. I prayed for her daily. I wrote to her 2-3 times a week. Every time I wrote to her, I included a bible verse. Not only did those bible verses lift her spirits and remind her God’s unending love, but they were also a great support for me as well.
What are you most looking forward to?
