This is my fourth year as an aide at ILS. I have 3 children and currently have two grandchildren here at school. My husband, Rick, works as chef at Hilltop Assisted Living here in Rapids. I am involved at WR Community Theater and am an actor for crisis prevention for the Wood County Police Dept’s. I have lots of hobbies and enjoy being an aide and helping out where I can at ILS.
Our school’s theme this year is “Endure” (Hebrews 12:1-3). Briefly share a time in your life when you felt you needed the endurance that only God can provide. How can you use your experience to share God’s love with the students and families in our school?
More than once, my husband’s job ended without much warning. One time the employer couldn’t afford to keep him on. Another time, the the owners of a very successful business decided they didn’t want to stay in that business and sold it. Our job security was gone for a time. Others doors opened for us in time. The Lord is faithful but we learned in a real way what waiting on the Lord meant. You get up every day and trust the Lord to provide. He always did.
What is the most beautiful place you have ever seen in person? Why did you choose this place?
I had the opportunity to go to Alaska several years ago. My friends have dual residency and invited me to go. Alaska is overwhelmingly beautiful. This was a trip of a lifetime!
