Harvest Hustle 5k Run/Walk

Harvest Hustle brings opportunity for community connection and giving back

Wisc. Rapids, Wis. – It’s Hustle Time! The Harvest Hustle is the newest community gathering and fun event this fall. Are you looking for another race to run before the snow flies? Have you been thinking about a new challenge for you and your family to enjoy? Do you want to connect with your fellow neighbors and give back to this great community?

The Harvest Hustle 5K is for you!

The race will be held in conjunction with Immanuel Lutheran Church’s Pumpkin Patch. Coming in October, there will be pumpkins filling up the church’s new location off of Kellner Road next to Home Depot. Each weekend in October there will be extra activities to enjoy while you shop for your perfect pumpkin, including the Harvest Hustle.

The 5K will be held on Oct. 26. It starts at the church parking lot and heads out through the business park. A full map can be found on the race registration page. There will be volunteers, water stations and plenty of fun along the course. Also, the signature feature of the Harvest Hustle will be the Mission Mile, sponsored by Mission Coffee- Rapids.

For the last stretch of the race route (also known as the Mission Mile), participants will be cheered on by local non-profit organizations. Runners are encouraged to bring loose change to fill their buckets as they pass by. A portion of each registration will also be divided among the organizations.

The nonprofits featured in this year’s Mission Mile will be Hannah Center, Love, Inc. and Immanuel Lutheran Church’s youth ministry.

The 5K festivities will begin with a Kids Dash. Kids will be invited to run a short quarter mile course to kick off the event. Then the official 5K begins at 9 a.m. This fun, easy run features an easy out and back run along a flat, safe course. It is fun for all abilities of running and walking.
