What to Expect
We would love for you to join us on Sunday mornings for worship! Whether you are a first time visitor or have worshiped with us before, we hope you will come and join us in hearing God's Word and receiving his grace and forgiveness.
As Lutheran Christians, our focus is squarely on Jesus Christ who is present for us and with us through his Word and Sacraments. Jesus is living and active among us, as he promises to be. When he gathers us around his Word he fulfills this promise to us once again. In worship our sins are forgiven, our faith is fed, and our family is strengthened.
Traditional/Modern Worship
Our 8am service on Sunday and our 6pm service on Monday are Traditional settings. The 10:30 am Sunday service is a Modern worship using creative liturgies and upbeat songs led by our praise team.
All services are around an hour long with the Sunday services being live-streamed on Facebook.
Visitors: Please grab a 'welcome mug' as our gift to you!
Families and Children
At Immanuel we believe worship is for the whole family. Children are members of our church family in the fullest sense, and we value their presence in our worship services.
When you visit us, you will see that we welcome children to sit with their families during the service, and we don't mind at all if they make noise or struggle to sit still!
Children's Message
Each week there is an opportunity for children of all ages to come forward for a special children's message. (Parents are welcome to bring their little ones up as they are comfortable.)
Nursery
We have a nursery downstairs with a stocked changing table, a rocking chair, and a place for little ones to stretch their legs if needed.
Busy Bags
We have "busy bags" of coloring sheets, crayons, and other activities for children to use during church.
If you need anything or need directions to the nursery or changing area, please ask an usher and we will make sure you have what you need.
