We would love for you to join us on Sunday mornings for worship! Whether you are a first time visitor or have worshiped with us before, we hope you will come and join us in hearing God's Word and receiving his grace and forgiveness. If you are considering joining us and are wondering what to expect, here are some things you may want to know.
As Lutheran Christians, in worship our focus is squarely on Jesus Christ, who is present for us and with us through his Word and Sacraments. Jesus is living and active among us, as he promises to be. When he gathers us around his Word he fulfills this promise to us once again. In worship our sins are forgiven, our faith is fed, and our family is strengthened.
Traditional Worship - Our 8:45 service and our Wednesday evening service are traditional, with hymns and organ music.
Contemporary Worship - Our 10:30 service is more contemporary in style, with music lead by our praise band.
Both Sunday services are around an hour long, with free coffee and other snacks available in the lobby between services.

At Immanuel we believe worship is for the whole family. Children are members of our church family in the fullest sense, and we value their presence in our worship services. When you visit us, you will see that we welcome children to sit with their families during the service, and we don't mind at all if they make noise or struggle to sit still! Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me... for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these," and we take that very seriously.
Each week there is an opportunity for children of all ages to come forward for a special children's message. (Parents are welcome to bring their little ones up as they are comfortable.)
Each week at 10am (between services) children meet downstairs in the Fellowship Hall for a large-group devotion and simple craft. Parents are welcome to accompany them! We have childcare available for children 2 and under in the nursery during this time.
We have a nursery downstairs with a stocked changing table, a rocking chair, and a place for little ones to stretch their legs if needed.
We have "busy bags" of coloring sheets, crayons, and other activities for children to use during church.
If you need anything or need directions to the nursery or changing area, please ask an usher and we will make sure you have what you need.
